Here are 3 tips to get you started:
1. Focus on Non-Starchy Veggies.
These are also known as volume carbohydrates. You can’t get enough of these! This will help fill up your stomach, provide you with fiber, vitamins and minerals without excess calories and carbohydrates. Pro Tip: Eat these first during mealtimes!
2. Eat Your Calories, Don’t Drink Them.
Liquids are much faster digested than solid food. This means liquids won’t leave you full and satisfied for very long. Instead of mindlessly drinking your calories, try to consume solid, real food!
3. Plan Ahead.
Try to prep 2-3 staples on the weekend. You can find a ton of healthy recipes on the HSN website, Healthy Recipes.
